Data-Driven Investor Marketing Intern

Internship Opportunity: Data-Driven Investor Marketing & UX Optimization

Remote | Part-Time | 15–20 hrs/week | 4 Months (May–September or June–October)

Join America 2030, a venture capital fund investing in late-stage U.S. startups in defense, AI, cybersecurity, and energy. We’re seeking 1–2 highly motivated interns to help us improve our investor conversion funnel—from landing page to email campaigns to digital investor decks.

 

This is a rare opportunity to work on a live, high-stakes marketing challenge with direct exposure to the world of venture capital, investor behavior, and digital strategy. You’ll work directly with the fund’s managing partner and gain experience that translates into roles in VC, private equity, growth marketing, or digital product strategy.

 

Who We’re Looking For

Junior/Senior undergraduates or master’s students in:

Marketing (digital, performance, or growth)

Communications (with finance/business exposure)

Business (VC/startup interest)

UX/UI Design (ideally with a minor in copywriting or marketing)

 

Skills You’ll Need (or Learn Fast)

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

Analyze landing pages with Google Analytics, Semrush, or HubSpot

Design and A/B test calls-to-action, forms, and layouts

 

Digital Marketing:

Understand email funnel metrics (open/click/conversion)

Optimize for lead quality, not just clicks

Use tools like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot

 

Copywriting & Visual Storytelling:

Write persuasive, investor-grade messaging

Rebuild decks and PDFs to look institutional (no emojis!)

Use Canva, Figma, PowerPoint, or Adobe InDesign

 

Investor Communication:

Translate financial strategy into trust-building materials

Understand how LPs think and what they want to see

 

Behavioral UX:

Apply psychology to digital engagement

Use design thinking and behavior nudges to drive decisions

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Audit our funnel: emails → landing page → gated platform → deck

Propose and execute redesigns of the landing page

Rewrite our deck and fact sheet to look and feel institutional

Design experiments (A/B tests, message testing, pricing tiers)

Suggest ways to build trust and urgency in online investor traffic

Present findings directly to the fund’s leadership
