Outreach Specialist – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Outreach Specialist to enhance our Civil Works program's engagement efforts. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement outreach initiatives to connect with current and prospective customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers to integrate comprehensive outreach strategies across various projects.
  • Conduct studies to assess and improve communication systems, ensuring effective dissemination of information about USACE capabilities and projects.
  • Prepare a variety of outreach materials to support the District's Civil Works program.

  • Experience: Proven experience in public relations, communications, or outreach roles, preferably within a governmental or engineering context.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in developing strategic outreach plans.
