Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Intern to join our team! This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation for a dynamic, live-entertainment venue. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll play a key role in helping us expand our reach, build community awareness, and drive audiences to our shows. You’ll work closely with our team to enhance existing strategies and bring your own creative ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media, event websites, and email newsletters to promote shows and increase community engagement.
• Media Capture: Capture and edit photos and videos from live shows to share across platforms and showcase the theater experience.
• Local Outreach: Design fliers and distribute them to local businesses to increase theater visibility.
• Website Management: Help update content on our website through a content management system (CMS) to ensure current and accurate information.
• Ticket Booth Assistance: Support in-theater ticket sales and interact with patrons at the ticket booth once per month.
• Campaign Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns and creative ideas.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Graphic Design: Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design software) for creating promotional materials.
• Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with social media marketing across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective content creation and collaboration.
• Self-Motivated: A proactive self-starter who can work independently and contribute ideas to enhance our marketing efforts.
