ACE Digital Marketing Intern

ACE Digital Marketing Intern 


ACE Digital Marketing Interns are an essential part of ACE's mission to combat political polarization. We are seeking students with an interest in Digital Marketing to work with our ACE Leadership Team this Spring semester on the building and execution of ACE’s Marketing strategy. 

Marketing Interns will work on a team alongside ACE’s Marketing Manager,  and will have an opportunity to make an impact with real-time, hands-on Digital Marketing - involved in all stages of social media campaigns from strategic planning to result analysis. Your work will drive and shape ACE’s marketing strategy. All Marketing Intern teams are led by ACE’s Marketing Director who has over 30 years of Direct Marketing expertise. Teams meet remotely once every week. All work is remote and interns are required to work 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities at ACE could include

  • Drafting copy/developing assets for ACE’s social media accounts
  • Graphic Design of cover images and/or social media posts
  • Video creation and editing for social media platforms
  • Building and Interpreting metrics reports
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Hubspot Marketing analytics
  • Email marketing
  • Supporting the team with various content/communication projects
  • Working in Wordpress to manage website content
  • Newsletter creation
     

Essential skills for all applicants: 

  • Ability to work well in a team, contributing to a collaborative environment while also being able to work independently when needed.
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Motivated to take on new initiatives
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing or a related field
  • Knowledge of basic marketing concepts, including branding, target audience analysis, and the marketing mix.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience through internships and coursework

 

Essential skills for Analytics Team roles:

  • Demonstrated interest in analyzing data to uncover insights and trends.
  • Understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and channels to analyze marketing performance effectively.
  • Experience with analytics and data visualization tools like Google Analytics and Excel/google sheets.
  • Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. This involves identifying trends, drawing conclusions, and recommending actions based on data insights.
  • Capable of translating  data findings into clear, understandable, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Precision in data analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.

 

Essential skills for Creative Team roles:

  • Understanding of various social media platforms and how to use them effectively for marketing.
  • Ability to generate original ideas and think outside the box to create compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create visually appealing graphics and layouts.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong writing skills to create engaging content, along with the ability to edit and proofread.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all creative outputs.
