Radio Promotions Assistant

Steel City Media is a Pittsburgh based multi-media company with market leading media outlets in Pittsburgh and Kansas City. This position is for the Pittsburgh location.

We are looking for a part-time radio promotions assistant who can interact with listeners and clients in a positive, professional and upbeat manner while on-site at client remotes, station events and concerts. This person will represent 96.9 BOB FM (WRRK-FM) & Q92.9 FM (WLTJ FM).

The Promotions Assistant will set up and breakdown promotional items used for on-site (10x10 tent, table, speakers, giveaways), drive station vehicles, interact with listeners, clients and talent, organize and execute games and giveaways on-site with talent assistance. Some office work may be needed where basic office skills will be used. Knowledge of photoshop is necessary.

The Promotions Assistant will have the ability to work flexible hours (maximum 30 hours per week) that could include weekdays, weekends and holidays, as needed. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., have excellent communication skills with a clean driving record and a valid PA driver's license. This person must be reliable and organized.
