Online Community and Content Management
Bliss Cafe is looking for motivated and creative interns to join our team as we expand our online community and continue our mission to support conscious, plant-based living. This role offers hands-on experience in digital community management, content production, and event marketing.
Position: Online Community & Content Management Intern
Location: Remote, based in San Luis Obispo, CA area preferred
Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule with 10–15 hours per week
Compensation: $15/hr with potential for increased compensation for demonstration of quality results
Responsibilities
- Monitor and Administrate Community: Engage and moderate our online community, foster a welcoming space, and ensure adherence to community guidelines.
- Content Production & Management: Assist in producing, recording, and editing digital content (videos, articles, graphics) aligned with our mission.
- Social Media Management: Schedule, post, and engage on various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and help create compelling content.
- Email Management: Organize and respond to emails, track inquiries, and support campaign development.
- Event Support: Help plan and promote online and in-person events, monitor RSVPs, and provide support on event days.
Skills & Qualifications
- Digital Media Skills: Basic experience with content creation, recording, editing (knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, or similar tools is a plus).
- Social Media Knowledge: Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies.
- Community Engagement: Friendly, approachable, and passionate about cultivating positive and supportive online interactions.
- Strong Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication in both writing and speech.
- Attention to Detail: Organized and thorough in managing tasks, especially when handling emails, scheduling, and content.
- Flexible & Proactive: Able to adapt to various tasks and willing to bring creative solutions to the table.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or currently pursuing a degree in communications, digital media, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in community management, social media, or digital content creation is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 3 months, with flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for events.
