Marketing Intern

We have an opening for a Marketing Intern, working in an office/hybrid work environment. This role will not be 100% remote. This position will contribute nationally to a variety of marketing requests focusing on designated market verticals (sectors).

Each person who works at DLR Group has a design voice. From contributing to messaging that leads to a new business win, developing collateral to connect with potential clients, working with teams, and being part of something larger than yourself, we can’t wait to help you define and amplify yours. We also hope to give you experiences outside of the typical internship in your discipline – from heading out for a construction site visit, sitting in on a design charrette, or sharing your ideas on what the future of marketing design services looks like.

As a DLR Group intern, you will be responsible for working and learning in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team to help support marketing, pursuit, and brand activity. This individual will be an important part of our integrated marketing and brand process and will engage in a well-rounded seasonal position. Location:

  • Denver, CO

Position Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting project narratives
  • Updating and creating staff resumes
  • Developing and producing on-brand marketing collateral
  • Updating general project information in Deltek Vision/CRM database
  • Supporting Marketing Leader and Pursuit Leader for new project pursuits

Required Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior-level student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism (preferred), Public Relations, Mass Communications, Marketing, English, or similar major.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)
  • Highly effective writer capable of producing succinct, key messages, project stories, and technical approaches responsive to the audience.
  • Collaborative, strong communicator able to work with a wide spectrum of personalities.
  • Self-starter who can calmly manage multiple projects and produce high-quality materials under tight deadlines.
  • Strong GPA and Student Organization Involvement considered.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and asynchronous collaboration tools such as SharePoint
