Journalist with Account Management Experience for Global PR Agency
XWECAN is seeking an experienced PR professional with a background in client facing roles to act as an account manager for a few of our prestigious clients. We are a global PR and communications agency that has been honored to partner with world-class organizations like the United Nations, TikTok, Binance, Fujitsu, MTV, and Unilever. This position is responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are met (ideally exceeded!), that client comms are consistent, professional and timely, and that a high level of strategy quality is maintained. Proactive and professional communication is a must in this role, which includes the manner of communication with internal and external stakeholders, journalists and their teams. This position is the relationship owner, and as such, this position has responsibility for client satisfaction and campaign. Your days will be extremely client-facing—you'll be on calls, speaking with and preparing reports for clients the majority of the day. It's critical that you're personable, charismatic, and able to represent our company excellently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in PR or account management (with demonstrated success) is required.
- Must be an extremely proficient English speaker. The majority of your work will be speaking & writing to clients, so this is essential. Note—having an accent does not disqualify you! We just need you to be extremely proficient in our lingua franca.
