Social Media Coordinator
GPA is looking for a part-time Social Media Coordinator who will be responsible for creating compelling digital content for social media marketing and maintaining an online presence through all media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, ect. This is an ideal position for a creative and globally minded individual wanting to get involved in the Philadelphia landscape. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities include:
● Lead management of social media channels
● Create engaging text, image and video content
● Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness ● Develop and execute digital and social media strategy
● Manage a digital media library including video footage, audio files, photographs and other files
● Train interns to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
● Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and tracking customer engagement metrics
Qualifications include:
● Knowledge of Social Media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
● Content creation knowledge/experience preferred
● Strong writing and editing skills
● High level of organization and attention to detail
● Ability to work under pressure, adapt easily to changing situations and priorities, and to meet multiple deadlines and goals simultaneously
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
