Communication Operations Specialist

As part of the Division of University Marketing and Communications, the Communication Operations Specialist is a member of a technical marketing team that collaborates closely to support the communication needs of the Division of Enrollment Management.

Through the EM Marketing and Communications team, this position is responsible for executing communications that promote the University to prospective undergraduate students, including but not limited to high school students, transfer students, UD Sinclair Academy students, international students, veterans and military-connected students, parents and high school counselors.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree with equivalent work experience
- 1 or more years of experience in a data-driven or print fulfillment role
- Experience with mail merges for letters and print projects
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy with a commitment to service excellence
- Ability to manage projects independently while contributing to team goals
- Proven ability to produce positive results while maintaining multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, HTML, Alteryx, Adobe InDesign, S-docs, Edify and/or Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word and Excel)
- Familiarity working in an Agile scrum project management environment
- Experience with email marketing: building email templates, pulling data for audiences and sending emails (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
- Experience with CRM software and reporting (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience working with higher education data
