Paid Social Media Internship – CREEW
CREEW is a community-building organization in New Orleans and Houston fighting loneliness by creating spaces where real friendships form. We're looking for a college student who wants hands-on experience building a brand that actually matters to people.
What You'll Learn:
- Creating scroll-stopping content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Writing in a distinctive brand voice (we'll teach you ours)
- Community management and audience engagement
- How to translate trending formats to mission-driven content
- What makes social content convert to real-world action
- Working with a small, mission-driven team
What You'll Do:
- Create 2-3 Instagram posts per week (graphics and short videos)
- Make 2-3 original TikToks per week using trending sounds/formats
- Keep our Instagram stories active and engaging (5-7 per week)
- Manage DMs and comments daily
- Bring us insights on what's trending and what our audience might respond to
- Participate in monthly check-ins to reflect on what's working
You're a Great Fit If:
- You're a college student (any year, any major—we care about skill and vibe)
- You're chronically online in the best way (you just get TikTok and IG)
- You understand what loneliness feels like and why community matters
- You can work independently but ask questions when you're stuck
- You actually want to learn, not just pad your resume
- You're in it for the portfolio work and experience, not just the paycheck
The Details:
- 12-15 hours/month (totally flexible around your class schedule)
- $500/month stipend
- Fully remote (work from wherever)
- 3-month commitment minimum (with possibility to continue)
- Potential for academic credit depending on your school's internship policies
- You'll get a reference letter and portfolio pieces when you're done
