Public Relations Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Public Relations Coordinator supports the development and execution of communication strategies that strengthen Inchcape and Atkins Kroll’s brand reputation, visibility, and community presence across the region. This role helps shape the company’s public narrative by supporting corporate messaging, media relations, community partnerships, and external engagement initiatives.
As a member of the marketing team, the Public Relations Coordinator ensures all external communications reflect Atkins Kroll’s values, brand standards, and strategic priorities. The role actively manages the company’s business communication channels—including LinkedIn and the corporate press page—while supporting media relations, preparing talking points, and developing briefing materials for the leadership team.
The Public Relations Coordinator works cross-functionally with all business units and reports to the Marketing & Brand Engagement Director, with a dotted-line relationship to the Marketing Manager for day-to-day coordination and campaign alignment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Corporate Communications – Develop, draft, and manage business’ communications plan, corporate messages, press releases, statements, and talking points for leadership to ensure brand consistency and alignment with company values.
2. Public & Media Relations – Serve as the primary liaison with media partners. Manage media inquiries, press opportunities, and editorial collaborations to maintain a strong and credible public image.
3. Brand Voice & Messaging – Uphold and support the tone, voice, and style of the company across all platforms, ensuring messaging reflects professionalism, integrity, and authenticity.
4. Digital Communications – Oversee the company’s business communication platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Website Press Page) and serve as an active contributor across internal communications platforms. Develop and curate content that highlights company milestones, achievements, people, and community impact.
5. Community Relations – Plan, manage, and evaluate community partnerships, sponsorships, and outreach programs that align with the company’s social responsibility goals and commitment to giving back.
