Music Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Artist Manager to oversee a dynamic year of creative launches in 2026, including an album premiere and tour, a short film premiere, and a holiday (Christmas) album release. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about independent artistry and creative storytelling. Preference for LGBTQIA + candidate and/or strong ally. 

Booking & Coordination

Act as the primary contact and representative for booking live performances.

Contact clubs, venues, and promoters to secure new show dates.

Negotiate performance fees, scheduling, and logistics.

Coordinate with venues regarding technical requirements, contracts, and any related communications.

Serve as the point of contact with venues before and after each performance.

Administrative Support

Maintain and update the Artist’s official website with current information (e.g., tour dates, press, EPKs).

Assist in applications and renewals for professional memberships such as:

APAP (Association of Performing Arts Professionals)

The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs)

Organize and maintain important digital files (e.g., contracts, tech riders, press materials) in a shared folder (such as Google Drive or Dropbox).

Work with the company's social media manager for marketing and branding purposes.

The Manager shall receive a commission of 20% of gross income earned by the Artist from the following sources:

Live performances (including guarantees, ticket sales, bonuses, and appearance fees)

Sponsorships and brand partnerships (including endorsements and paid promotional deals)

Commission shall be:

Calculated on gross income before expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Paid to the Manager within 7 days of the Artist receiving payment from the relevant income source.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in artist or project management (music or film preferred)

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Knowledge of touring, promotion, and release cycles

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

• Passion for independent music, film, and cross-disciplinary art
