Internship for Friends of May Nivar

Friends of May Nivar is seeking highly motivated interns to join our campaign team for one of

the most competitive battleground races for the Virginia House of Delegates. This internship will

run from September 8th to November 11th. Candidates are required to be based in the Richmond

area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist with projects, including on voter outreach, research projects, and campaign

organizing

●

Support the team at events including canvass launches, meet & greets, fundraisers, etc.

●

Support day-to-day campaign operations and volunteer coordination

●

Help with data entry and maintenance in campaign databases

●

Draft communications and outreach materials

●

Participate in campaign planning meetings and grassroots activities

Qualifications:

●

Current undergraduate or graduate student

●

Strong verbal and written communication skills

●

Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized

●

Previous campaign or political experience is not required

Compensation and Benefits:

●

Expected pay for this position is $15/hour

●

Interns will work 10–20 hours per week, depending on their availability

●

Academic credit may be available in coordination with your institution
