Location: Washington’s 7th Congressional District (Seattle, WA) 

Dates: September 15, 2025 – November 10, 2025

Time Commitment: minimum 10 hours per week (more hours available closer to Election Day)

Schedule: Primarily weekday evenings and weekends

About the Internship:
Team Jayapal is excited to offer a 8-week internship opportunity to passionate individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in politics. Interns will play an essential role in supporting our year-round organizing program. This is a hands-on opportunity to get involved in grassroots political work, support progressive campaigns, and gain real-world experience in every part of a campaign, from organizing and communications to fundraising and digital outreach.

As an intern, you’ll work closely with Team Jayapal in both local and national efforts, working on national projects like The Resistance Lab and supporting endorsed candidates. You'll build valuable skills, contribute to meaningful change, and grow as a leader in the progressive movement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with campaign staff, volunteers, and partners
• Help lead voter registration and community outreach efforts
• Assist with campaign fundraising and donor engagement
• Support digital and communications strategy, including social media
• Support endorsed candidates in their campaigns
• Participate in training sessions through The Resistance Lab

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from high school sophomores through recent college graduates who are enthusiastic about social justice, community organizing, and progressive change. No prior political experience is required, just a willingness to learn, contribute, and grow.
